DISHARI
Unfortunately, menstruation is still a taboo subject in the society. Many families in the villages and even in the cities do not use sanitary napkins in the 21st century. It is our initiative to raise awareness among girls about the use of napkins, with all those families in mind and the message of staying clean to prevent infection. We hope you will break all the taboos at the end of the day…!
Dishari is a project about women health and hygiene. We deliver sanitary pads to those women who use dirty cloths instead of using pads. Due to this they suffer from various bacterial and fungal infection which are fatally detrimental to their reproductive health.
We have started this awareness Programme from January, 2021.
Location- Patrasayer Block.
Monthly 200 sanitary pads are distributed. We have reached the mark of distributing 5200 pads.
